Buy orders on BagelSMP, explained
How /orders work, how to fill them, and what the delivered numbers really mean.

What a buy order is
A player sets aside money and names an item, an amount and a price each. Anyone can deliver to it and get paid straight away.

Which items fill which orders
An order only takes the item it names. A plain Elytra order won't take an enchanted Elytra. Enchanted orders are listed separately for each combo, so match the enchants the order asks for.
Selling to an order or listing it
An order pays now, usually for less. A listing can earn more, but it waits for a buyer and might not sell. If the best order is close to the cheapest listing, take the order. If the gap is wide and the item moves, list it.
What "delivered" means here
Delivered is the number of items we saw orders take in the last 24 hours, from how much they filled up between two reads of /orders. Unlike a listing disappearing, that's a real trade.
It's a lower bound. An order that fills and closes between two reads is never seen filling, so small orders on busy items are undercounted, which is why it shows as at least this much.
Order flipping in practice
One player's look at making money from buy orders. It's their opinion and their numbers, not ours.
